  • Ha, phallus.

  • "...I'm enjoying it. :) "

Me too! Let alone the thread as a whole; no development, no evolution whatsoever, no one has ever changed their mind on this subject since 2007... What is there not to love?

  • You could turn them backwards.

  • I think the only fallacy here is you guys talking theory and belief...

  • Oh shit... baby otters!

*I'll be good, I'll be good... Promise!

  • No, You're phallus-y

    don't fuck wit science.

  • But surely without proof, you are talking theory and belief too. We are trying to base ours on varying grasps of physics, you are basing yours on a grasp of what your legs felt.

  • Is it getting warm in here?

  • It's that otter picture, warms the cockles.

  • Oh my.

  • Must spread rep before protecting james from the impending nergpocalypse again.

  • "But surely without proof, you are talking theory and belief too. We are trying to base ours on varying grasps of physics, you are basing yours on a grasp of what your legs felt."

I'm basing my $0.02 on performance.

  • Measured performance?

  • 10cc is usual for a human being, not sure about a jizzyotter

  • If results count as measured performance, then yes.

  • Anecdotes aren't evidence.

  • I'm basing my $0.02 on performance.

No, you're basing it on what a bloke told you.

  • Results as in repeated timings, or results as in beating some other guy?

  • i am waiting for 2 things

    tester's response

and more importantly, Alfie to animate the otter with lightning jizz

  • I was a kid. I did what my coach told me. My performance improved. I started to win my fair share of the prize money and even top spot occasionally.

    In my little world, simples.

  • Tl;dr

If anything, surely a larger chainring/cog combo (GI being equal) would give more responsive acceleration, due to it running smoother?

  • bigger cogs - more chain - more friction.
smaller cogs - more movement in chain - more friction.

    Tl;dr

    fuck all in it.

  • at the end of the day, I'm still 3 stone overweight. I'm more concerned with that slowing me down than the ammount of teeth in my drivetrain....
