Yeah, but aluminium is harsh - even with the (semi) carbon fork. Mind you, it still looks like good value.

I'm no big fan of Langsters, but of all the upcoming new ones, the 'London' model is by far the most minging - if they're really not bringing the other cities' models here, they've f*cked up...

The white london one is nasty, but in London fields i'm sure they have a sort of grey one which doesnt look that bad.

I don't like the cliche of God save the queen union jack london sky line e.t.c other wise I like wight bikes.

Just interviewed the manager of the Evans in Canary Wharf, he knows I'm a fixe rider and we got chatting bout it as it's hanging in the window. He said through gritted teeth "It looks really good".

It has a convenient underground map on it though. I can see that coming in handy when cycling around the city!

Def. If they wanted to make it British rather than London thats fine, but why isn't it British racing green?
-
• #20
cos there idiots! i dont think theres a way in making it look british with out insulting everyone
-
• #21
If they wanted to make it "london" they should have given it a crazy "hit by a bendy bus" geometry and some fake scratch marks all over it.
-
• #22
Yeah that skyline is wack but I guess that is the only way anyone could distinguish it from London Ontario.

It was probably his friend I saw riding one of these at CM last month - laugh? I nearly cried. My main difficulty with it was trying to see it as being a serious bike. Yeah, I though it was ugly - but I suppose it has to be judged on its own terms i.e. more like a chopper with leopard skin seat, bar tassles, mirrors, spokey-dokeys and an antenna, but not something you would ever consider for serious riding - after all, you wouldn't want to scratch the paintwork.
