face is still the same, bit fatter maybe

edit: oops, that came out a bit massive. oh well, you can have fun ogling my cd collection

not according to some forum members...its blasphemy! but I did too :]

  • I like a bit of blasphemy. I'm going to take a photo of my Brompton next.

  • ^ Nice vase!

oh and i like the bike, hello zondas!

  • I just cleaned those rims and they are dirtier than they were to start with :s

  • Me

And Gareth without some numpty mounting him!

Loving the Chumley Warner look. Might give it a go at work tomorrow and see what the bosses say. It might catch on...you never know.

    The hat
    The goggles
    The socks
    The coat
    The bag
    The pipe
    The aloof stance

It's all here people. Its all here. You saw it here first.

  • Almost missed the double cuffs and the gloves.

Do I see a hint of mutton chops?

  • Search for tweed run.

Yup, on the 24th it was de riguer! The whiskers were the final finish indeed!

  • B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.

  • ^ Sora on a Pinarello!!?

  • Yep. Alongside the Record.

I kept meaning to upgrade it, but I got distracted by a shinier, more colourful bike. I'll get around to it one day.

  • To be honest, if it function perfectly and smoothly then why would you care if it doesn't have campgy?

    it's decent after all.

  • i like mercian, i like chris king, i like thomson, i like sugino...
    why not??

It was more that it's such low-end Shimano, I'd happily upgrade to Dura Ace or Ultegra (er, if I could afford it).

But yeah, it runs fine and it was a total bargain as a result of being a wonky sized mish mash. I am quite fond of it.

  • I'm thinking I'd quite like something like this. I fancy doing some full on long rides where gears and brakes would help me out a bit.

do what I'm trying to do, find an old peugeot road bike, sort it out properly (gumwall tyres, etc.) and bingo, classic road bike on the cheap.

    part of me wish I hasn't murdered some puppy when I change mine into a fixed wheel bicycle;

  • Repost!

  • bicycle....singular.
    bicycles...plural.

    rant over.

There are different quality levels of componentry Ed, generalised into 'groupsets'...Sora is pretty much the lowest you can get Shimano-wise.

I do love "campgy" though :)

  • Ed, your purple pug looks beautiful as a geared bike AND as a fixed (nicer as a fixed IMO).

  • hey, im a 15 year old kid that was born in london but now live in los angeles, i ride fixed and i am going back in summer.

I have never ridden in london before so i dont no what its all about, are there rides that happen every week, or only random ones. I do midnight ridz here and im sure its a bit different then in london.

another question is, since i dont no my (biking) way around, im not sure about distance and stuff, How many miles is it from archway area to bricklane?

    thanks alot.

  • oh and is there a big age range, kids my age?

  • Hillarious!
