Read the FAQ on the london messenger association first.
http://www.londonmessengers.org/FAQ
Its going to be hard to get a position at a good company esp as the courrier market is shrinking. Lots of students etc all try and be messengers in the summer when the weathers nice so theres lots of competition and often little work, esp at the pony companies liable to hire you.

If you start and want to work till October then that is basically the time you need to get into the job. At the moment working 5 days a week as a beginner you'll probably do around 250, after tax ;)

Another one of the 10 codes is 10-30 = rider accident.
So I reckoned that 10 - 230 = I have had an accident in my bib-shorts.

I'm at a loose end for the first time in a number of years (till October) and was thinking of doing some messengering.
Any advice? How much can you make? Number of Miles covered? Good companies? What length should you cut off you jeans at etc?!
