Phil Wood hubs & parts for sale - interested?

Posted on
  • Hi - i gonna order some Phil hubs and other bits which should arrive in about 10 days, is anyone looking for hubs and other PW stuff?

I can get hubs and sprockets (cheaper than Condor/BC) and othert stuff which is quite hard to get in UK, like the SLR track hubs (slotted flanges , lighter than the LF hubs, and also looks more "old school"), sprockets (Condor and Brixton Cycles sells sprockets up to 18t... but PW makes even 22t sprockets!), bottom brackets (their bottoms brackets are lighter than Royce ones, and cheaper)...

Oh and black anodized hubs, might be able to get red and maybe, maybe, golden...

  • Not to buy, but i do need to borrow someones phil bb tool for 1 min if i'm ever going to get my frame powdercoated ... :))).

  • I could be down for a bottom bracket, mounting cups, and install tool

need to check sizing and my money situation before commiting though

  • Oh you the guy who asked for the tool a while ago, right? Where about you live? send me an e-mail - rob at teambme dot com

  • how much are their bb's?

  • They're about 70 smackers.

  • hmmm, tempted but my recent trip to the States hasn't just made a hole in my wallet it's practically destroyed it! :-P

  • hey roberto,
what's the damage for pair of silver high flange 32 double fixed 120mm?

  • they are also pretty cheap here
    don't press

  • bugger!

I'd convinced myself these were well out of my price range, and decided on soma's.
    Now they seem horribly tempting...

  • for that price you can get dura ace high flange hubs look as nice and roll better

  • and require lots more maintenance...

  • dicki for that price you can get dura ace high flange hubs look as nice and roll better

They have quite a few pairs on sale currently.

  • It's true, DA's rolls better, but they're not sealed tho...

  • Any chance you can get gold anodized velocity Deep Vs, and Phil BB's?

  • Alex - you gonna use them for racing or on the streets? I have two pairs of Mavic Champagne CXP30 rims, one in 36 and one in 32 holes, tubulars = they are better rims than Velocity's in my opinion, and any tubular rim is way lighter than a clincher!

i've only just found out they do champagne ones :(
if only you had 2 32's and they weren't tubs, i'd snap em up, they'd match my frame lovely!
