I am in Central London, hoping to leave work around 6:30, and want to ride a bit and head to a pub. I am growing partial to the Peasant, in Islington, but I am flexible.
Does anyone know of a place with a good selection of Belgian beers?
Works for me? Bank holiday ride?
Belgian beer: The Dovetail in farringdon or The Dove on broadway rd(st?) in Hackney
yeah the dove on broadway market is quite nice for that. over the canal and to your right.
1802 in Canary Wharf are doing a promotion on Belgian beers at the mo. In fact go there on a friday lunchtime and they make fish and chips with Duvel batter! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I'm serious! If you want Belgian beer to take home, Waitrose have quite a range.
Well, mine does. West-side! Full of knobby imported beer drinkers! :D
