  • There's always one!!

I just just decided its about time i did up my Griffin and looked for some decals when i found a posted picture of it branded as a possibly STOLEN bike along with this little discussion. which implies i purchase stolen goods from Brick Lane. Wrong....Mate! I purchased from the original buyer as a complete track bike from before you had your forum membership...
I would be interested to know how you decided it was stolen, and exactly how is it suppose to look, so I can park it without you taking anymore fuckin snaps, posting comments.and making judgments.. the next thing you know some other arsehole will want to point me out to the cops... ...

riders should be able to ride and look what they want...

  • weird angry dredge

  • That <1000 club....

  • This is most unusual.

  • riders should be able to ride and look what they want...

Are you middle class, though? That'd have been the bit that would have annoyed me the most.

  • That's exactly what happened.

    Mate you need another pastime!!

    Check the dates you idiot.

  • Looks like James dredged this one... Is that right or did Mr Shouty delete his post?

  • No MR SHOUTY got in there first, then reposted his initial post as a response to DJ... Now seems he went back and deleted the original.

  • cheeky Mr SHOUTY

  • Someone may have just lost a black (or dark coloured) Roberts conversion from green lanes homebase / sainsburys. It had spd-sl pedals and was being pushes by two very shifty looking guys who gave me some dodgy looks.

  • my friends bike got stolen from acton area (not too far from the park) earlier today. i have attached a picture of it. it is a 2009 giant boulder with a brooks saddle. the bike was locked up behind secure gates at work, but somehow got stolen. the last time he saw it was when he got back from lunch (2pm) and it was gone when he left work (6pm)

  • ^^^^ fuck! I have the exact same Harry Hall in red, will keep an eye out.
I'd imagine it'd be hard to get rid of it as whole so the thief is most likely to split it.

  • that's a lot of forlorn bikes :(

    I did enjoy #99 though:

    99 A Christmas tree

  • I was there once, it was opposite to the delievery office I was allocated to

shitloads of bikes, and other stuff
not sure if stolen though, this is an estabilishment with address and VAT No so I would risk saying they are entitled to sell this lot

  • they auction stuff the po po confiscate / find

If anyones seen it knocking about, I guess it could be still knocking about in Manchester or in bits all over the UK, who knows ?

Will let you know if I spot it at the NCC, as unlikely as that may be. How was it locked / where stolen from? Be useful to know what locks mcr thieves are beating...
