Protecting the chrome

  • Does anyone know of a good way to protect your chrome. My bike is totally chromed (it's in the bike section, Brian Rourke track) and had never seen the light of day until recently. Cant let this beauty get rust, any suggestions?

  • Clear coat plus wipe any water off of it after you have been riding in the rain and store in a dry enviroment i.e not a garden shed.

  • I'm sorry - where is it? I can't find it...

  • Sorry for some reason the link in the 'show us your bikes' is buggered.

  • Oh shit, that frame is so buff.

I've got a feeling this pic won't show, but here's my other bike. Most of it's on my current ride.

I want to chrome some of my bike, when i get some ££.

  • my whip Chrome Paramount.. i tried to dry it off after ride if I have time and may be every 3 months when I overhaul the bike, I would use semichrome to polish the entire frame so all the oxidation and build up on surface would go away. anyone who used this shit before will tell you.. it's the shit...
