I have news for you; the bit of the handlebar below the bend is what you hold on a track bike. Therefore, the De Rosa has more drop.

It took us half an hour to persuade some triathlengers to get hold of the drops at an actual velodrome.

surely hipster grip + stronger legs > holding the drops and sucking.

fair enough - this makes life much easier - don't have to build your own just post up lots of other peeps hardwork...
