put in the box where you write the link
YouTube - Shoreditch Bike Polo Invitational 08
and them insert the link over the text.
is a bit complicated to explain but dead easy to do

you know the symbol to insert a YouTube - Shoreditch Bike Polo Invitational 08
you click in the drawing of the world with the chain link in the front, between the montain and the "U"
so, you need to write the link, like text and then insert over it the link.
you use the same thing twice, once in the normal box when writing, and another when click the world, in the pop-up window.
good luck, and just try all the possibilities

How can you check whether a video will embed successfully before you post it?
Searched but couldn't find an answer.

Test it here.. reload the page.. if it works then post the same shit elsewhere. :)
You can post video for these sites:
1) YouTube
2) Google
3) IFilm
4) MySpace
To post video, DO NOT use the embed method of the end site, instead just post a link to the video where both the link and the text within the link are the URL of the page that has the video.
That's it.
Example:
This YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iDAU2rjeDc
If I just put the URL of that video into the post it comes out like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iDAU2rjeDc
The key to this is... don't try and embed it! Just put the link in to the video page on the remote site... most of the time we will understand the link and take care of the embedding for you.
