The new Theo Parrish 12"...'In motion'
It's Fall season again
5 record sufjan Stevens 'convocations' doing his best stars of the lid impression.
Never been a massive fan of his normal stuff but it's lovely.

Great fun! Kind of cosmic disco version of Dungeon Synth
Its great isn't it? The chap producing it is a mate of a mate, def my favourite music to work to. Trying to convince him to throw a big wizard disco party in an old church or abandoned building somewhere...
I’ll check out some of his other stuff. I heard a great dungeon synth mix a while back. Much more classic dungeon synth, without the cosmic vibes. It basically sounded like the music on world of Warcraft, but there was something about it that I remember finding quite transporting!
Nice - please do share if you can find the mix again? I had a listen to some dungeon synth stuff i could find yesterday and enjoyed but t'was no Wizard disco but may not have been the good stuff.
I'm really enjoying having written that last sentence.
I wouldn’t say your mates mates stuff is avtually dungeon synth - it’s a bit too fun! It just had a bit of the vibe in there somewhere. I gather DS is a bit more along the lines of baroque ambient black metal 🤣 Like the albums that Mayhems Varg Vikernes released when he was in prison.
