It's too far away to collect 🙂
Poole is just a train ride away :D
Easily the best colour scheme too.
You could wear the team strip to ride it. Magical!
And I just discovered this brilliant article - you can go on holiday with Phil Anderson, if you're rich. https://www.ridemedia.com.au/product/phil-andersons-1991-motorola-team-issue-merckx/
Couple of Joe Waugh's:
aha always loved thta colour way. whats the difference between the corsa extra and the corsa sl? not much im guessing?
I wanna guess that it’s the tubing?
I think that the Corsa Extra frames were generally SLX tubing.
ya. but is slx light or thinner or what not.
and slx is lighter? I could google this.
SLX is their top end stuff, so just betterer ok? :D
According to chat on this site https://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=8810
nice. thanks for info.
If you’re anywhere near Exeter and after a Karate Monkey…
Another Motorola -
Cant find it listed now!
Links working for me, but it’s sold now. Not surprised!
There was also Columbus MAX, which was stiffer than SLX. Various Motorola Merckx riders used MAX. Lots more about it here. https://www.ridemedia.com.au/product/phil-andersons-1991-motorola-team-issue-merckx/
Not sure if this is a good deal but I thought Etap was a lot more expensive than this:
Edit: Also curiously cheap DA 9150 gruppo. Possibly a scammer?
Etap crankset and cassette aren't included, so maybe the price isn't that low? Easy to check at ebay.
You could well be right, I'm not interested in it but just spotted it
There are Corsa Extra in Max tubing, indeed. One in very nice Kelme livery is coming to London soon. 😁
another dawes 853 sportif has popped up in 57. Annoying as i've been keeping my eyes out for a 59 for a while
Could be quite lovely.
