We need a new thread "eBay clown bike of the week" I think you've scored a winning entry ;-)
Well spotted, that's got lots of good parts, just in all the wrong places !
Tbh I'd absolutely love it if it was my size, something garish to smash about on and not be too worried about but also decent. @midlife it's a 650c, tyres are 571.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/341293021055140 is another one, but not as nice
That's been up for sale for a long time on ebay as well, they won't ship the bike so I think its had low uptake.
@CaroLk is this any good for you ?
Airborne Thunderbolt Custom Paint Road Bike - Campagnolo Groupset 50cm £420 buy now.
What’s the estimate this Conalgo will go for/ is worth
Reynolds 853 Condor:
I wouldn't be best placed to estimate overall cost but the spiral conic frame looks in good condition, a bit rarer than a master but not as popular. Functioning delta brakes are quite sought after by certain people. Not sure about the heiarchy of the group but the wheels look to be campag high flange hubs which are also desirable.
I wouldn't want to spend much more than the opening bidding but it depends what you like. Could maybe ask the colnago appreciation thread?
Dawes ultra galaxy 853 full bike for £400 bin, collection in Newton abbot. Good deal and easy pick up for those in the West Country?
Thanks, my thoughts were on a similar vein
Thanks but I’m on the lookout for Single speed /Track bike at the moment - thank you for the thought though, appreciate it
Potentially interesting Gilott, too small for me.
I think Mark Stevens maybe going after it.
You’d think he’d got enough by now!
He did get it in the end :)
He always does.
Chas Roberts Columbus Max frameset in Germany
853 dawes sportif here, very decent winter/all round bike for the money - £260
That's been on some journey from Croydon then!!
yeah, that's a cracking bargain
Not bad value - Surly Karate Monkey frame https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Surly-Karate-Monkey-Ops-Frame-Small-/294352031359?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276
I can thoroughly recommend, I’ve been commuting on one for 5yrs, it’s a bit of an ugly duckling so had it painted and on its 3rd groupset with me but the frame is great, that’s a bargain.
