I love the minimalism of it CB.. The absence of any words speaks of the profound agony of existence. By saying nothing they have spoken volumes.

LFGSS has been a great place for me to search for bike related information. Thumbs up for the cummunity! -

Hi,
Only been riding in London a few months, loving it (even in the wet, weirdly). Had to take the tube to work yesterday. I'd take on the army of cabs, to public transport any day!Currently riding a Create frame, Miche wheelset, Token BB, velosolo bolt on hub...
Nearly finished my first fix, 1983 Centurion.

Hello from Rotterdam.
I've been lurking around this very informative place for quite some time now. Lots of bikes & parts laying around here at my place lately (not so hard to find in Holland, there's plenty of them to go around), so I guess I'm hooked now.
I'm focusing mainly on road bikes but with a few spare frames laying around, building a fixed gear probably is not far around the corner...

Hello, I'm Rebecca. Hubby just surprised me with an anonymous "vintage ladies bike" from ebay. Having picked at it's thick black paint layer, it has shown it's true colours: the original red paint and faded red handlebar grips, it's a single gear Pashley Post Office bicycle. I wonder if there are any other owners here (but there's a lot of messages for me to look at before I start asking questions), so until then: happy biking!

Welcome BeerWeasel.. the fact that you said "fixie" sadly denotes you will never be fashionable.. But don't fret about that. And to avoid pedal strike... Don't lean.. Welcome!

And this is me - Brillbrumboy, living in Brum, working in Fleet, hating the travel but paying the bills all the same and getting in some training on my fixie during my lunch-hour on my rollers in the lab - much to the consternation of my colleagues lol

Welcome bOOz. Love you, errr, Twerps. Brilliant city and had a wonderful time when Mrs Brave and I did the Half Ironman there couple of years back. Must go back soon. Loved that park with all the rabbits in.
