• My mate's brother in law had to be rebuilt, humpty dumpty-style after sticking one into a concrete bridge over a peage somewhere in northern France. I think he was in hospital for 8 months. Lost it in the wet, in a straight line and he was a pretty tasty driver by all accounts.

Great looking and sounding cars though - I love the 6 cylinder one (Tuscan?) I'd have one of them as long as it didn't have the neffie multi-colour paint.

Ex-girlfriend of mines dad had a Chimaera, clipped the kerb on track in the rain and smashed both ends into the tyre barrier- he'd never got the top down it was so new at that point.

Mate of mine had an S2. Drove it up and down an industrial estate once. Amazing car. Sadly he encountered someone driving on the wrong side of the road. She'd just come back from a week in France and forgot what country she was in. Fractured spine in both neck and lower back, broken pelvis, ruptured spleen. Was in Stanmore spinal injuries unit for months.

When I'm next on a computer and not an Apple device I'll post a before and after pic. Of the car, not him.
