Doesn't sound too tricky to fix. I've replaced pockets myself, it's pretty straight forward. Or if it's just a hole in the bottom of them, you just stitch it shut.
Is the rip on the leg? That could be trickier to fix looking neatly, but shouldn't be an issue for someone that knows what they're doing
