Axle arrived this morning: swapped out, chain on, cabled up, BLAM!
A surprisingly painless build (apart from trapping the tip of my thumb 'twixt sprocket and chain): particularly, I was expecting the chainline to be a real ballache, but I didn't even have to get the wheel dished.
Only taken it for a short spin, but the first thing that struck me was the lack of wheel/brake rub when I was honking up hill.
Currently running 74gi (the same as my road bike) which will obviously need to be increased; an inline seatpost is at the top of the shopping list, followed by something tasty up front and then a Raltech.
No work tomorrow, so if the weather holds I take it out for a good spanking...
