I've come up with a way to extend this build just a little longer. After the trouble I have gone to with putting the wheels together properly, I think it wouldn't make much sense to assemble the other parts without as much care, however, amongst my various tools isn't actually a torque wrench.
I have done a little research and I ordered two yesterday. They should arrive by Tuesday (today is Friday).
In the meantime I have, in bouts been refining the wheels. I will declare them finished once the trade between improvements and time taken reaches a level of tedium that is unbearable.
