It does preclude you using a chain tug though. But the DA track nuts are pretty hefty, you should be alright. The axle has never shifted on my Feather, which has 7710 hubs. Though the track ends have a stainless steel plate brazed on the outside, so the nuts are gripping that rather than paint, which seems to work well.

If I were speccing another custom I'd have that done again.

Or just get stainle$$ end$ instead of plates.
