  • We're all pretty attached to him already. He's such a lovely, affectionate, fun and active animal.

However our kid had a really rotten night with the allergy last night, had an asthma attack. It was quite bad. We'd just eased off on the antihistamines during yesterday. He can't take antihistamines all his life, no way Jose´! We have been pretty careful to limit his contact with the cat for now. It's terrifying how strong the reaction got last night. So his mum was really worried about him overnight. He's coughing next to me as I type this, and sounds really adenoidal. We're off to the GP now.

So, it looks like the cat will probably not be staying. I feel like we tried, maybe not for very long, but the asthma is frightening for us. If anyone can help us we may decide in the next few hours, days or weeks that we'd like to get him out of the house, even just for a week to see if the asthma improves. Please get in touch if you could help.

    Thanks
