the ronda, jimena de la frontera, gibraltar area is beautiful massive national park and trails
lots of traditional spanish villages, mountains to die for and cheap and lots of history
my family have had a house in this region for about 30 years and i love the area like no other region of spain
40c mid summer temps can make it a bit hot though
seville is one of the hottest cities in spain
tarifa is a good hippy hang out in the summer full of windsurfers and kite surfers
cadiz is an excellent historic city as is gibraltar good for a day or two exploring
