So just to clarify-a check to the steering arm side is ok? I got called up on this lots in florida, I made several clean checks to peoples steering arm sides and every time the whistle was blown and the ball turned over. whats up with that?
Also I agree with Jono that Cruse made a 'legal' check on kremin in this example, it looks to be clean enough, the dangerous part was that it was too far from the boards and could have resulted in a serious injury. I think anything more than a meter and your potentially checking someone too dangerously. If they fall off before hitting the board they could go head first into it and that could lead to all kinds of injures.
