My point still stands, this hit was (and currently is) legal, it was specifically clarified at the ref meeting in Florida (check to the back = not cool, check to the shoulder = always cool).
Fair enough if people want to make the game "safer", Bill and I were advocates for this kind of ruling years back, it wasn't popular.
Until the next ruleset is out for discussion, please don't confuse things in the here and now (Rouen is coming up, etc).
