hi!
8 months ago i started to think about a bike with a higher BB and more vertical seatube and headtube. The idea was to have a bike to ride in "Sangalhos velodromo" and also for fast and shorter road rides. Usually i ride bikes with 54cm toptube but this one i had to think about a longer toptube... and i'm glad i did it
right now i'm trying to finish it (as i want it). Soon i'll share more details about the project.
here you can see it with borrowed wheels and saddle.
the ideia was to fit a compact road handlebar with the dura-ace stem but i had a few problems with that. I had to solve that problem with a cinelli stem. The dura-ace stem is a bit "fatter" and the compact handlebar does not pass the 26.0 clamp. The cinelli also has a 26.0 clamp but it works because it's more "slim".
right now i'm lacing a dura-ace front hub with the mavic MA rim (clincher).
I'm also thinking about a set of tubular wheels for the velodromo.
