We're getting a new packet of pipe cleaners for our two cats for Christmas. We had a whole load left over from the days with the Luddlets used to do crafty making things with glue and lolly sticks and glitter.
They were kept in a wicker drawer thingy (what the kitchen fitter called "an unwelcome element of rusticity" in our kitchen) and the cats reach up into the drawer, fish the pipe cleaners out and chase them round the house. They eventually get really filthy, so we throw them out.
