"Cat milk" is full of sugar and fat - We give it to scraggly-old-cat when she is dying, and it fattens her up pretty quickly.
A lot of cat food (pet food in general) appears to be calorifically dense, and packed with sugars, salts and fats - all of which make them nommynomnom good to the cats, but the dietary equivalent of McDonalds.
Lizards, moths and spiderwebs are all that a cat needs.
