Due to the dual impact of me finishing my fixie conversion and the fact that I'm leaving London in a couple of days with minimal packing capacity, I've got a few bits and bobs that I'm looking to shift quickly otherwise I'd have to bin them. Priced cheaply accordingly.
All components are from a Raleigh Elan (circa 1990) not brand new but fully working and had been used quite lightly by previous owner and only used by me for a few weeks of commuting, and they combined to make a very nice ride. Groupset parts are all Shimano Exage.
Disclaimers: I haven't had a chance to clean them up, and you'd have to collect them during either what's left of this evening or tomorrow daytime. I'm in Bermondsey a few minutes away from the tube station.
Wheels: sealed hubs (no name), Alesa rims, 700c. 7-speed freewheel included, yours to keep or remove. They run pretty true and would make a nice upgrade/affordable replacement for something more beaterish, say for example an older 10-speed with steel wheels. Looking for £35 for the pair.
Chainset 2-speed, 40/52 I believe, 170mm cranks. Some rust spots on chainrings but solid and in good working order. Note these are Biopace not-fully-circular rings, Sheldon was a fan!. £15
Derailleurs not got loads to say about them really and not my area of expertise, shifting was good and smooth though. Tenner for the pair, fiver each.
