Sadly back in the UK now.
My knees got worse, I've done damage to the small muscle above my knee cap and it wasn't getting better. Don't want to make it worse. Touring is for fun, racing is serious. So can't risk a big issue.
Epic voyage though. Learnt so much. I will write up what happens as I've some good stories. Serious ups and downs.
But the trip ended with a ride around the champs ellyse this afternoon. A fitting way to end a trip around France! Made me smile.
