  • Some sks mudguards come with a clip that allows you to clip them onto the chainstay bridge rather than having to bolt them through it. I can't vouch for the longboards specifically, but you can buy them from SJS here.

    The eyelets at the dropouts look fine. Even if they're not threaded (or the thread has stripped) you can always just put a longer bolt through with a nyloc nut on the inside. Mudguards aren't mechanically complex and are quite amenable to being adapted (i.e., bodging).

    tl;dr: you'll be fine, chromoplastics are a good investment.
