  • I managed with ease without tyre lever(Crest rims as well), it's largely down to technique, fit the first side first and make sure the bead is right in the centre of the rims where it's deeper, this allowed pushing the final bit in easier.

    put slightly inflated inner tube in, then start at 180 from value and work your way up until the final bit is located where the value is.

    repeat the first step of making sure the bead is in the centre of the rims, push valve inward to get the inner tube out of the way (prevent getting pinched by the tyres) and finish it off*.

    inflated it slowly, check to make sure inner tube isn't in between the tyres and rims, go at least 100psi to get the bead to hook onto the rims, may need to pump it up further (120psi even) to get all the bead hooked in.

    *may required tyre levers.
