For me, I think matching bars/stem makes sense on aesthetic and functional grounds, but I'd be less bothered about matching the seat post manufacturer, as long as it was a close enough aesthetic match, e.g. I have Cinelli CDM/1A which were obviously designed to be together, but a Dura Ace AX aero seat post*, which has a near enough milky/silver finish to match.
*which you can't tell anyway cos the logo was getting ragged so I polished it off. :)
