I've used premix Powerbar recovery drink powder for the last year, and it's definitely helped me control post exercise eating and seems to improve recovery. However, it's not exactly cheap - does anyone have a suggestion for a home made mix I can use that
a) will do the same job
b) cost less
c) will not taste like shit
Semi-skimmed milk with some skimmed milk powder. Need more protein... just add more powder.
I have a glass of almond milk with 2 tbsp of skimmed milk powder. I think that's around 15g of protein (and a little nutty goodness which I like the taste of).
