  • Try a few of the larger British based manufacturers who still work in steel; e.g. Mercian, Bob Jackson, Argos, Woodrup, Condor, Brian Rourke. They all have websites where they'll list their prices.

wow... took so long writing the reply it logged me out... and I had a lovely run down on the builders... dammit..

got the Reynolds number for the frame i want at least, seems its the 725.

Bob Jackson they are a beaut, but mainly touring bikes. I'm not worthy for these yet :P
Condor doesn't seem to actually have custom frame building, but prices ranged from £500 to 900 for my needs

Mercian, mostly Reynolds. Average price is £1000. Extras are, well, extras with price ahah

Argos has a nice set up.works with both Reynolds (525, 725 and 853) and Columbus (Niobium and Nova). From what i gathered from all the cross-reading the 725/Nova are the best suited for my needs. Price ranged on £1450 (with VAT)

Woodrup has the several options for styles/need of the rides, and a special beaut ahah. Anyway, the best suited one would be the Sportivo frame, with price of £840 plus vat for Reynolds 725.

Rourke had the actual price listing. Only works with Reynolds 631, 853 and 953 and Dedaccai Zero. Price from £865 to 1079.
