I knwo where you are coming from SF but I'd say go mechanical (cant believe I am saying this) it'll suit the build/usage. And groupset only. Personally I think DA 9000 cranks look amazing. The reach on the new gen shimano stuff (6800/9000) is a little more than last gen so its worth considering shedding 10mm off your stem.
