I love this bike. Really love it. I sort of want to treat it to some new wheels (though may have to put that on hold if I'm dealing with the Rossin first). It's currently sat on 9 speed Dura Ace 7403 laced to Omega V's. Am I going to notice a difference in actual riding (aesthetically I know what I want) if I upgrade to some modern wheels?
Omega Vs are around 450 grammes, which is less than H Plus TB14s/Archetypes, which were what I was looking at. I know most of the noticeable difference comes from rotational weight, and I don't know whether a mid-level (Ksyrium, Cosmic etc, or Archetype/TB14) modern build is going to be much better than these old, but good quality wheels.
Aero doesn't really matter, I just want something that I'm going to notice on the hills. These are actually fine, I'm just wondering whether I'm missing something. I also quite like the idea of having black brake tracks on this bike.
Oh, I'm about 13 stone/80ish KG which I know is the main thing I should change to feel a difference on hills, but right now I want an easy fix.
