They are Wilmslow Audio Labyrinth Gold speakers http://www.wilmslow-audio.co.uk/labyrinth---gold-1637-p.asp which have a Fostex FE206EN full range driver and then a rear loaded folded horn which takes care of the bass. You buy as a kit and build yourself for £515 (or buy prebuilt for £690), the idea being that you get a speaker as good as something twice the price from an expensively marketed brand. Can be painted purple as on website or any colour you like.
Dimensions H940mm x W400mm x D450mm. They're bloody loud (sensitivity 96 dB) and bloody heavy too.
£250 and will definitely need collection because of size / weight.
