Didn't realise he has a life ban from competing in the Olympics for racing in South Africa under the name 'Jim Burns' during the apartheid era. How on earth did someone doing something that shady get to be in charge of the UCI?

To be fair, so does Sean Kelly. And for my money, I'd be happy for Kelly to run for position of King of England.
