As fall approaches, and rain already is pissing down, I have started thinking about my ride for this cx season.
I wanted to built my own steel frame and use some carbon forks I have from an past ride, but as I don't have enough funding, nor a workshop at the moment, I will be using a Pomp frame I got cheap from a friend.

Wheels are 32h Mavic Mach 2 CD 2 (I want to try tubs this season)

Other than that I have som Deda compact bars, Ritchey stem, flite, thomson setback and other stuff laying around.
BUT my main issue is the drive train. So far I have the pick between SRAM s300, FSA Grossamer og some FSA carbon kranks (also laying around).
Should I go for s300 with a 10 sp chain, as the chainring I have got for that set is 130 bcd 10 sp. Or should I go for a thicker chain?
I am also wandering if I can use QR with the track ends of the pomp? Will I need a chain tug or will the QR be strong enough? Should I get a ss specific wheelset? I have only ridden sscx with chaintensioner previously and that no good to me.
