^^ I didn't say it wasn't amazing. It is.
In terms of looks you could argue it's been downhill since the Comet. While the 747 is iconic it's far from pretty, and Concorde isn't exactly an airliner.
Weirdly, I've just noticed that the nose of the 787 is very similar to the Comet's. Probably a good thing they didn't copy the square windows.
