yup, spot on, it is a 650 rear tub shamal from the late 80s that I want to convert to front.
Thanks for that, now I am worried that the wide flange will not do the trick unless I cross the spokes. I could get new spokes I guess, butI think I will go with the every other hole option as I already have a 32 hub.
