I hardly ever skid on mine, so cannot really provide a view on that.
My rear tyre is a lot more worn than the front, but then I tend to come to a stop at lights with a small stopie- in order to rotate the rear wheel/pedals for optimum track standing, and this inevitably thumps the rear wheel down into a very small skid.
Ah cheers, I'd guessed you weren't a big skidder after seeing your power front brake setup :P
Skidding a disc wheel is a bad idea, irregardless of tyre type.
This I know, debonding the hub etc, I reckon I can make most of the ride without skidding, just a couple of places worry me a little.
