So I'm sure this has been done before on here, but I'm making myself a bamboo frame! I have been donated a nice but damaged 531 frame (I have looked into repairs but my wallet said no way) which I shall cut up for the metal parts, some west system epoxy (marine grade and highly toxic) and some carbon fibre tow. My bamboo should hopefully arrive in the next week or two. This will be a fixed build, hopefully with lots of carbon parts to match my lugged joints if I can afford it! I have these colnago force forks which I will be using.
I probably wont get much done until about July as I have exams in june, but I thought I would post now so that anybody with experience can tell me what not to do in the meantime :)
