Look for some reasonably priced silver rims to put 35mm tyres on, probably 36 spoke, what do you guys recommend?

I plan to run 35c most of the time but would like to be able to go up to 45c occasionally and down to 28 if necessary.

No brakes for me.

They say 43mm so I reckon I can find a 38c knobbly and if it won't fit I can trim the outermost knobbles off.

Disc rims are your best bet. Check out velocity, as they always do lots of colours so are more likely to have silver. They also tend to be reasonably priced.
