    if the guy on ebay was supplied directly by royce then find out what his original crankset/ hub combo was as royce will have supplied to match the chainline then from the knowing the crankset taper (google or sheldon perhaps) you can check which taper it has and reverse back out the taper on the bb spindle

    royce don't always supply the correct taper to match the crankset (jis/ iso have same taper but different starting points .. if i remember correctly the jis will throw an iso tapered crankset 4.5mm wider .. i think the info is somewhere on sheldon brown) .. i was supplied the different taper/ length bb to get the correct chainline on one chainset as he'd run out of the correct match .. this may/ may not be ok depending on much contact area you get on the crank arms if it's an iso going on jis taper or how far up the taper the jis crankarm on iso spindle travels as you may risk bottoming out
