LBS seem to be doing well around Hackney. One or two have opened in the past year, which isn't a lot, but a sign that they are doing well. I believe cyclists are increasing, and Hackney is a hot spot for that so that will help.
Most of the morning comes from servicing and that is what keeps the staff busy. I know Nick from Daycocks on Stoke Newington High Street and he doesn't seem to sell many bicycles/parts until the summer. Repairs etc... is what keeps him going.
Also Skinny's who recently opened in Hackney Wick seems to always be busy.
