Very nice Elswick Stag complete bike, SS conversion with NEW 27" wheels, NEW Michelin World Tour tyres, Shimano 16T freewheel. Surprisingly lightweight and very good ride quality over crap London roads. Apparently the tubing is Tange No.2, (double butted and comparable to 531). 42T ring on SR chainset give approx. 72" gear.
Frame is 57cm sq., I'm 5'10" and it fits perfectly as shown, standover is 84cm so a bit challenging for anyone shorter but would suit taller. Everything works and is in good order. Headset really smooth, BB less so but not worth changing. Chain has life left in it. Nice Rolls saddle with a little divot out of one corner. Ready to ride away and do sterling service, can include some generic MTB style pedals or some battered SPDs, or bring your own.
