I did last years DD on a Re-Fuse that looked like that from the beginning of the ride. I didn't have another tyre to replace with on the day as I was waiting for the delivery of ones I'd ordered. Anyway, 100 odd miles riding fixed on it with a bit of skidding in Suffolk at dawn and it still didn't pop throughout the whole ride. In fact, I rode for another week on it before I decided enough is enough and put a fresh skin on.
