Question - I've got a few mounted CX tubs in storage at the moment. I have to top up the pressure every week or so. I've noted when I do that they are quite loose on the rim, despite being glued to a level where they don't roll off at 20psi when racing.
So what gives? Does the glue bond degrade over time, or is it the lack of pressure loosening the bond? Or is it the temperature?
Basically does a glued tyre stay put for the long term or does it need rebonding from time to time?
I've only ever used glue.
