Also I may have finally reached a milestone in the Graham Weigh headset saga.
I took him to the other nearby branch of my work today (hi Danny) and had the workshop manager there have a quick look over it. A fall-out with and a minor loss of faith in ours,(who originally put mine together) plus the fact that we didn't have the tool, sealed the deal.
Anyway, he faced the headtube and refitted and regreased the headset, and also discovered the crown race wasn't quite straight. For four craft beers, I now finally have what feels like a fully functioning and fucking great dream bike. A long ride on Saturday should confirm or refute this, I can't wait!
