I use a tiny bit of grease at the edge to help in go on striaght. **Best thing to do is the leave the cup in the freezer over night, and the headtube in a warm room. **That way everything fits together without forcing too much.

This is the Pro way - you only need to put it in the freezer for an hour though really imho.
